Our celebrity golf tournament is always two outstanding days of celebrating life and raising funds for our community, but I hope you will stay connected through our website and social media for more information about the funds raised and our future activities.
My Foundation's Mission:
The guiding purpose of the Vaughn’s Valley Foundation is to channel our resources into providing awareness, and funding of a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D) in addition to offering life-changing experiences to the youth in our community.
I am 916-4-Life and helping where we are needed is my primary goal!

The Vaughn’s Valley Foundation™ Mission
I have deep ties to the Sacramento valley. This is where so many people influenced my life and where I want to focus my efforts to do more in this community. It’s my goal to continue my efforts with the striking out Type 1 diabetes (T1D) because my son Cory was diagnosed with T1D at the age of eleven, but I’m expanding the reach of Vaughn’s Valley Foundation™.
The Foundation’s purpose will not only be to raise needed funds directly, but if I can use my resources to offer positive exposure to community organization in the valley then Vaughn’s Valley Foundation™ will be successful.
This website will help connect our community. My team will post upcoming community events, offer exposure to organizations that need our help and be a source for your giving. If you know of an organization that may need our help, please contact us.
The Man
As a retired 4x Major League Baseball All-Star and a Silver Slugger recipient, Greg Vaughn puts in to play the lessons learned from his years on the diamond to his personal and professional life. Greg is 916-4-LIFE™ and that means he puts his energy and focus into the Sacramento community that helped him achieve his success.
The Businessman
Greg Vaughn Enterprises is Greg’s second chapter. Through his interests in the wellness industry he is looking toward making an impact on baby boomers and a new generation. His focus is on investing in healthier products, services and lifestyle options.
The Philanthropist
The Vaughn’s Valley Foundation™ (VVF) is named for Greg’s deep ties to the Sacramento valley and is created to make a positive impact on his community. While Vaughn’s Valley Foundation™ continues his personal efforts to strike out type 1 diabetes (T1D), the Foundation has expanded their reach to include a positive impact on young people.

Greg Vaughn received a call while on the road playing in the major leagues that his son Cory, then eleven years old, was diagnosed the T1D. That call would change their lives.
Young People and Families
We know it takes a village to nurture our youth and to strengthen families. Teaming up with organization that offer activities and support to build confidence in our young people, while offering other resources for long-lasting stability and quality of life for the whole family is the focus of Vaughn’s Valley Foundation™.
